CAREERS AT KCRW
KCRW is looking for two outstanding drive-time news hosts for its new Santa Barbara operation.
Successful candidates will be radio "jacks-of-all-trades," who embrace the lifestyle and are passionate about news and local culture.
Often working alone in a studio with minimal supervision, our local hosts will create smart local news content and fold original material seamlessly into NPR's national news magazines. Applicants must be able to run their own board, conduct interviews (live and on tape) and hit posts with ease.
The ideal candidates will be personable, curious and able to spot stories of significance for a community that cares.
If you are an experienced and confident multitasker who is driven to make great radio, then drop us a line.
Relatedly, KCRW is also looking for fill-in hosts for its Los Angeles and Santa Barbara operations to cover Morning Edition and All Things Considered. Please let us know if you'd like to be considered for this type of work as well.
Submit a short resume, audio, news writing samples and contact information to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please, no phone calls.
