Joe Morgenstern, film critic of the Wall Street Journal, has just returned from this year's Telluride Film Festival with reviews of two winners. Slumdog Millionaire, due in November, is directed by Danny Boyle (Trainspotting) and written by Simon Beaufoy (The Full Monty). I Loved You So Long (Il y a longtemps que je t'aime), directed by Philippe Claudel and starring Kristin Scott Thomas is due in October. Joe will revisit both upon their release in the US.
