    Disney Issues an F Ticket

    Gustavo Arellano talks about Disneyland's record-setting crowds — and Disney's decision to stop ticket specials for Southern California residents

    The Disneyland Resort in Anaheim is very popular nowadays—so popular that Disney recently announced it would no longer offer Southern California residents special discounts as it has throughout much of the past decade. And while the decision provoked teeth-gnashing among the faithful, the crowds will most likely continue its record-setting pace. What is it about the House of Mouse that makes us so happy to get significantly lighter in the wallet every time we go?
