On Sunday, October 9, join LA cyclists and foodies for the Second Annual LACBC Bicycle Sundae: a two-wheel tour of exotic ice creams and culturally hip neighborhoods. $15 registration includes tastings, route map and bike support. Registration is 9-10am at Griffith Manor Park (1551 Flower St, near Sonora) in Glendale; Tour begins at 10am; ride covers approximately 10-15 miles. The tour samples fine and unique ice creams, ranging from Persian to Indian and from Mexican to Italian. Participating shops include Mashti Malone's new shop in Glendale, Whole Foods, India Sweets and Spices, and more. Bicycle Sundae is one of a series of rides by the Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition that promotes the pleasures of bicycling in Los Angeles.
