Market Report ()
Monica Ford is the market coordinator for Fairview Gardens. This week she's selling fennel root at the market. She also says you can juice the green tops.
Dan Mattern is the chef and co-owner of Cooks County on Beverly Boulevard. Right now he's using turnips in a variety of preparations. In one dish he's pairing lightly sautéed turnips with kumquats and duck.
