    This week has seen upheaval behind the Oscars. Producer Brett Ratner who made the recently released Tower Heist -- the Eddie Murphy/Ben Stiller movie -- was due to produce the Awards show with Murphy hosting. But after making a gay slur at a Q&A and then having a crass conversation about his sex life on the Howard Stern XM radio show, the Academy of Motion Picture Sciences decided Ratner wasn't the guy they wanted helming their big event. So he resigned and was replaced by veteran producer Brian Grazer (A Beautiful Mind). Then Eddie Murphy quickly quit as host in solidarity with Ratner to now be replaced today by Billy Crystal.
