    Bribery Scandals Abound

    The latest in the News Corp scandal in the UK, and the SEC looking at whether Hollywood studios possibility used bribes to gain access to the Chinese film market.

    From Wal-Mart in Mexico, to News Corp. in the UK, to possibly some Hollywood studios in China, it appears that big corporations may have been engaging in bribery or undue influence in the service of furthering their interests. Today, Kim and John focus on the Hollywood studios and News Corp. The Security and Exchange Commission has recently made inquiries into certain Hollywood studios and the possibility that they used bribes to curry favor with the people in China who control access to that market. Meanwhile, in Britain, the Murdochs are testifying again this week. Rupert Murdoch was questioned about his access to the British Prime Minister and any sort of bribery or undue lobbying he and his corporation have done to gain more power over BSkyB the British satellite broadcaster.
