Election Night TV Watching
Hosts:
Kim and John talk about how viewers consumed Tuesday night's coverage of the presidential election. Overall viewing was down from the 2008 election, but a hefty 66 million plus viewers tuned in to the 13 networks covering the news. NBC was the big winner in terms of ratings that night, but Fox News drew a large crowd. That network also drew the ire of some as Karl Rove challenged Fox for its calling of Ohio for Obama. Over on ABC, Diane Sawyer ignited skeptics on Twitter who wondered if perhaps she were drunk as she did some slurring. Overall, Kim and John reflected on how this was the election when many embraced the multi-screen experience -- consuming the returns on Twitter as well as the television.
