    Let me tell you a story, but before I do, let me stipulate that it may not be what people in the entertainment business call "relatable." Being relatable, in the television business, is something we all strive for, despite that fact that most of us live in pretty airtight bubble somewhere in the 310 or 323 or even 818 area code, and we eat a lot of sushi and have a person do our taxes. People in the entertainment business tend, on the whole, to have a lot of help doing things that other people, who do not live in the 310, 323, or 818 area codes manage to do themselves, like raising their children, mowing their lawns, and parking, which may explain why audiences find what's happening on Facebook and Twitter increasingly more interesting than what's happening on television or, especially this summer, movies...
