    Friday night marks the beginning of the highest holy day in Judaism, the Day of Atonement. In honor of Yom Kippur, we present Isaiah Spiegel's "A Ghetto Dog," read by Lauren Bacall, part of KCRW's collection of Jewish Short Stories from Eastern Europe and Beyond.
