In 1990, Jeffrey Goldberg, now Washington correspondent for The New Yorker, was an American serving as a guard in Israel's largest prison. That's where he met a prisoner named Rafiq. He writes honestly and passionately about their relationship in his new book. Ruth Seymour speaks with Goldberg about Prisoners: A Muslim and a Jew across the Middle East Divide.
