This year we are SO excited to showcase the talent that the KCRW Music team pulled together for SXSW. We asked Jason Bentley to sit down with Music Publicist Rachel Reynolds to talk about how these showcases come together and of course - to sample some of the music and learn more about the artists that KCRW feels are on the cusp of breaking it big.

Chris Douridas from Austin w/ performances by The Civil Wars and Agnes Obel

	Joy Williams and John Paul White are rapidly capturing a growing legion of fans for their seemingly effortless collaborative tales of love and loss, and spellbinding harmonies found on their critically-acclaimed release Barton Hollow. Our live acoustic session from SXSW will mark the Nashville-based duo's KCRW live performance debut.
	This Danish singer, songwriter, pianist swirls in the worlds of Eric Satie, Chopin, John Cale and Jan Johansson. All of these influences are evident on her stunning debut release, Philharmonics, which she performed and produced entirely on her own. She joins us on piano with a guest cellist for her U.S. live radio debut.
