KCRW Sessions with Moby sold-out to KCRW members in record time. Thanks to all of those who purchased tickets to the Thursday, July 31st show at the Malibu Performing Arts Center.  We will have one more KCRW Sessions show in 2008, so stay tuned for further details on the date and the artist lineup. Proceeds from the event will go towards supporting our acclaimed music programming.

KCRW Sessions is an intimate concert series featuring a live session and interview with KCRW Music Director Nic Harcourt held in front of an audience of 500. These live shows are stripped down to the essence of what we see when an artist comes to perform in KCRW’s studios, providing a unique behind-the-scenes perspective. On the heels of Moby’s newest release, "Last Night", he will bring a full band for an unforgettable performance.

MALIBU PERFORMING ARTS CENTER

The Malibu Performing Arts Center is a stunning state-of-the-art venue. Located just ten minutes north of Moonshadows and just blocks from the beach, the venue was built as a recording environment first and foremost and has incredible acoustics.
