A star-studded lineup of singers and songwriters will perform their music in an intimate setting and discuss their inspiration and thoughts behind the writing of these popular hits.
Award-winning songwriter Charles Fox, a longtime Fulfillment Fund board member, along with his wife, Joan, created “The Songs of Our Lives” concert as an opportunity to combine entertainment and philanthropy in a meaningful way to support the Fulfillment Fund’s important work within the community. "The evening has always been a huge success because of all the extraordinary and varied talent that give so much of themselves on the stage,” says Fox. “All of these songwriters and artists come together to perform their greatest hits and tell the stories behind them. At the same time they and the audience are helping the deserving students in Los Angeles to overcome the hardships in their backgrounds and pursue life saving education from high school through college as a result of the Fulfillment Fund's great work."
This year’s lineup includes performances by: Alan Bergman (Papa, Can You Hear Me?, The Way We Were), Charles Fox (Killing Me Softly With His Song), Steve Karmen (I Love New York) and Allan Rich (I Don’t Have the Heart to Hurt You) with special guest performances by Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr and more. The show will be directed by film and television director, Joel Zwick.
