KCRW Presents Zócalo Public Square: Despite widespread public anger at California's broken governing system, its citizens remain disengaged and voter registration is among the lowest in the country. Do our diversity, progressive traditions and weakened political parties make conversation more difficult? Have high dropout rates hindered political discussion? Joe Mathews, senior fellow at the New America Foundation, moderates a panel on what’s gone wrong and how we can make it right.
All programs are free and open to the public; seating is limited and reservations are recommended.
