The Latin Alternative Music Conference (LAMC) is back in 2011, continuing to spotlight cutting-edge artists in the genre. KCRW is on board again as the radio sponsor for the event and DJ Raul Campos will be hosting the festivities, including multiple showcases across the city and informative panels on pressing issues in the business.

LAMC ON THE MUSIC BLOG

This year we hit the ground at LAMC again with KCRW Host and DJ Raul Campos as well as Morning Becomes Eclectic producer and Latin Music lover Ariana Morgenstern. They will be reporting back with all the highlights of the festival. Catch it all on the KCRW Music blog, here.

Raul Campos has played host for the last 4 years of LAMC. Raul's critically acclaimed mix CD "Loteria Beats Volume 1" has opened the door to release the 2nd volume, due just in time for the 12th annual LAMC. 

MBE Producer Ariana Morgenstern
Ariana Morgenstern recently attended the Vive Latino festival in Mexico and is ready to discover even more new Latin artists. She's been going to LAMC since its launch over 10 years ago and has always played a hand in KCRW's support of Latin artists, in part thanks to her Argentinean heritage.
