Veteran producer Randall Grass Randall Grass is Tom's guest to discuss his new book, Great Spirits: Portraits of Life-Changing World Music Artists. A longtime General Manager of Shanachie Records, Grass developed the indie label into a world music powerhouse with US debuts of Fela, Lucky Dube, and many other big stars. His new book is a loving tribute to artists who have moved and changed his life over the past three decades, including Nina Simone, Bob Marley, Fela, Sun Ra, and The Neville Brothers, among other greats.
