    Synch takes place in Athens, Greece June 13-15 and calls itself an ‘Innovative Music, Moving Image and New Media Festival’ Artists on the bill include Happy Mondays, Stereolab, Roisin Murphy, The Field and a number of Greek bands and DJs such as Angel, Good Luck Mr Gorsky and Kreon. The main venues are

    The converted Technopolis factory and the historical Benaki Museum.

    Synch has teamed up with London’s Radar Festival to showcase new video talent and there’s a new feature called ‘Hotspots’ where you can transfer your personal energy at a docking station – now that’s what I call interactive!

    Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival

    Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival

    held on a 700 acre farm in Manchester Tennessee.

    From June 12 – 15th.

    The main thrust of Bonnarroo is music and the eclectic line up includes Pearl Jam, Death Cab for Cutie, Lupe Fiasco, Aimee Man, Orchestra Baobab and M.I.A. A unique feature of Bonnaroo is the Silent Disco where you have to dona pair of headphones to hear the DJs tunes. There’s a comedy tent featuring Chris Rock Janeane Garofalo or film screenings - check out the website for the latest information.

    Parkpop – a pop music festival that has been going since 1981 – a year that saw Kim Karnes, Blondie and Abba riding the charts. According the festival website The Hague is the pop city of The Netherlands attracting 400,000 fans to the Parkpop festival each year. The line up for 2008 features Sheryl Crow, Kula Shaker, Cuban Hip Hop band Orishas and the Dutch band Moke.
