The Lost Weekend is ‘an intimate festival, with focus on volunteers, environment,
happiness and surroundings’ and takes place in Bergen - known for its oil industry, acquculture and home to a host of KCRW music faves such as Erland Øye, Rokysopp and Sondre Lerche.

Catering to 10,000 fans over 3 days, The Lost Weekend is known as ‘Norway’s Most Beautiful Festival’ thanks to the stunning location by the sea, set against the rugged Norwegian coastline. The music will be provided by Norwegian artists such as Datarock, Ida Maria, Octavia Sperati and Casiokids .

The Øya Festival is the largest outdoor music festival in Oslo. In addition to acts such as Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine and N.E.R.D it also has new talent such as Fleet Foxes, and The Field and Norwegian acts including the ever popular Ida Maria, Howl and Bonk.

And lastly a quick mention for Reggae Rising Festival taking place in Humboldt County California on the first weekend of August. According to Ghana’s superstar Rocky Dawuni this festival has become the watershed for reggae music in the US. Artists on the bill for Reggae Rising include Julian Marley, Sly & Robbie, Don Carlos. UB 40 and Tanya Stephens. Irie.
