Legendary and eccentric producer/artist David Axelrod will be Gary Calamar's special guest on the Open Road this Sunday 12/16 in the 10 o'clock hour.<BR> David will be talking about his new self-titled release, his other-worldly and highly collectible solo albums from the late 60's-early 70's, as well as his classic production work with everyone from Stan Kenton to Lou Rawls to The Electric Prunes. <BR> In recent years his songs have been sampled by hip hop artists and rare groove dj's Lauren Hill and DJ Shadow.
