Burkina Electric: Ligdi

Burkina Electric’s full-length debut is an irresistible brew of traditional West African music and electronica. They are the first electronica band from Burkina Faso, in the deep interior of West Africa, though they are also an international band, with members living in New York, and Germany, as well as in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso's capital. Today's Top Tune, from the album Paspanga is a song about money and all of its most negative aspects. It's called "Ligdi."
