When Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings joined Morning Becomes Eclectic recently, their saxman Cochemea Gastelum handed over his solo release, The Electric Sound of Johnny Arrow. A gifted player, he has worked with a ton of artists ranging from Paul Simon to Public Enemy. His own songs span the global rhythmic horizon. His new album is co-produced by KCRW favorite Mocean Worker. Today's Top Tune is infectious, it's "Carlito!".
