Azam Ali: Lai Lai

Iranian singer Azam Ali interprets a variety of lullabies from the Middle East on her solo release, from From Night to the Edge of Day. As a mother herself, she believes that this intimate way of communicating enables maternal figures to bridge the gap between generations and instill a great love for their homelands.
