Skye Edwards: Solid Air

The late John Martyn broke ground in the late 60's with his lush sound. He was a cult figure who counted musicians like Jimmy Page and Eric Clapton among his admirers. Johnny Boy Would Love This: A Tribute to John Martyn, a double-disc tribute recording featuring lots of bands we love (Beck, Swell Season) is set for release and Today's Top Tune is from Skye Edwards of Morcheeba. It's her version of a song Martyn penned for his friend Nick Drake, it's called "Solid Air."
