Guest Interview Market Report 7 MIN, 2 SEC

Andrea Crawford and her husband, Robert Dedlow, own Kenter Canyon Farms. They recently launched Roan Mills, a "farm to toaster" operation where they grow, mill and bake with wheat they grow on a 50-acre property in Hollister, California. Crawford sells milled flour, wheat berries and fresh baked bread at the Wednesday Santa Monica Market and the Sunday Hollywood Market.

On December 18, Crawford is bringing her mill and griddle to the Santa Monica Farmers' Market where she will demonstrate both the milling and cooking of her heritage wheat. 

Laura Avery also talks to CC Consalvo who is a Santa Monica Farmers' Market regular and private chef. Her new e-book, Sauces, Soups & Sides, is available on her website. You can find a recipe for her ginger soup on the Good Food blog.
