Last week on Twitter, the comedian Patton Oswalt got into a small conflict with actor and filmmaker Albert Brooks over who, exactly, had come up with the idea for the Famous School for Comedians sketch. Patton Oswalt was featured in a short piece for Esquire Magazine. Or maybe it was just on the website. Or it could have been a video. It doesn't really matter. The point is, the piece implied that the idea of the Famous School for Comedians was Esquire's, and that Albert Brooks did a version a bunch of years ago, and now Patton Oswalt was doing an updated version...
