Meredith Stiehm is an Emmy Award-winning writer-producer from Homeland and the creator of the CBS series Cold Case. Elwood Reid is a novelist and television writer-producer whose credits include Cold Case and the Hawaii Five-O reboot. Together they adapted the Scandinavian series Bron/Broen. They talk with Kim Masters about changing the setting of The Bridge from its original location on the Canadian-US border to the border between Mexico and the US. They also detail their efforts to get the linguistic and cultural world of Juarez Mexico right, and talk about working with an autism consultant in crafting the female lead character who has Asperger's.
