Abdi is a refugee in Kenya. He's from Somalia, one of the most dangerous countries in the world, and he's always dreamed of coming to America. One day, he gets the luckiest break of his life: he wins a lottery putting him on a short list for a US visa. This is his ticket out. Until the police start raiding his neighborhood, targeting refugees. So he goes into hiding, desperate to get his visa before the police get him.
