The Séance 20 MIN, 40 SEC

On a summer night in the early 1990's, a small group of friends gather for a dinner party in Los Angeles. Just for fun, someone suggests having a little séance. The group sits around a big oak table and a makeshift Oija board is assembled from scraps of paper and a glass turned upside down. Four people put their fingers on the stem of the glass...

After a few short moments, the glass begins to move…

By the end of the evening, perceptions of reality have been altered, relationships have been damaged, and the people who were there are forever changed. In this episode of UnFictional, three of those people reunite to tell the shocking, funny, and hauntingly tragic story of The Séance.

My Favorite Holiday 7 MIN, 50 SEC

Then... as a kid, young Dana got some very conflicted messages about the intersection of religion and Halloween. That might have something to do with the fact that he grew up being taught shoplifting to raise money for an Oklahoma mega-church, and he spent his Halloween night egging cars with a Catholic priest.
