Making News Los Angeles County Task Force Mobilizes to Aid New Zealand Quake Victims 7 MIN, 15 SEC

74 members of the LA County Heavy Rescue Task Force have been deployed to help New Zealand after it’s deadliest earthquake in 80 years. The 6.3-magnitude tremor near Christchurch, the country’s second-largest city, toppled buildings and trapped workers are inside. At least 65 deaths have already been confirmed.

Defecting Libyan diplomats are among those saying there's a "massacre" taking place in their country and demanding that Colonel Moammar Gadhafi step down after 41 years in power.
