If you're actively looking to buy a home in Southern California, you won't be surprised by this week's report by the real estate website Trulia. Los Angeles, Orange County and the Inland Empire are three of the country's five most overpriced housing markets. And here's the kicker: housing prices are soaring — but incomes are not keeping up.

The Roots of Chinese Organized Crime in America 7 MIN, 10 SEC

Yesterday, State Senator Leland Yee was among those arrested in San Francisco and charged with wire fraud, trafficking in firearms and other federal crimes.  The FBI has released a 137-page complaint complete with the biography of one co-conspirator, 54-year-old Raymond Chow, also called "Shrimp Boy." He is described as the “Dragonhead” of the Ghee Kung Tong — an organization with roots in 17th Century China. Sheldon Zhang is Professor of Sociology at San Diego State University.
