Reporter's Notebook Will the Getty Lose Its Worldclass Reputation? 7 MIN, 39 SEC

As we reported last night, the J. Paul Getty Museum will send 40 antiquities back to Italy, including the Aphrodite, bought for 18 million dollars. It is called the “signature” statue in a collection that has been one of the greatest in the world. The deal ends decades of struggle with the Italian government, which claimed the objects were stolen.
