- Making News: 7,000 Los Angeles County Parolees at Large
Today-s Daily News reports that 7,000 felons have failed to report to parole officers in LA County alone. State Corrections Department records show many felons are "at large" with arrest warrants issued. Several have been arrested and charged with violent crimes, including the recent killing of a Los Angeles Sheriff-s Deputy.
