As the
presidential primary season comes to a close tonight in South Dakota
and Montana, the voters still have not chosen a democratic nominee.
They have left that to the superdelegates who are finally making their
move to give the nomination to Senator Barack Obama. Have the Democrats picked a real winner for November? Does Obama need Hillary Clinton on the ticket to win? If not Hillary, who else can help Obama? Who does Senator John McCain need on the Republican ticket to counter Obama’s campaign theme of “change?” what will the Obama–McCain face off look like? Lawrence O'Donnell guest hosts.
They are still counting votes tonight in the South Dakota and Montana presidential primaries, but today Senator Barack Obama collected enough superdelegate endorsements to lock up the democratic nomination.
