In the second of our one-on-one interviews with candidates for Mayor, we talk with Councilwoman Jan Perry, who's asking voters for a promotion. Also, what's been called a "game changer" for the LA Unified School Board. The Mayor of New York, Michael Bloomberg, is pumping a million dollars into campaigns to perpetuate education reforms, bolster the administration of Superintendent John Deasy and dilute the influence of the teachers' union, especially when it comes to teacher evaluations. On our rebroadcast of today's To the Point, pragmatism and principle are dividing the Republican Party.
