Prospects for Lakers and Kobe Bryant after His Achilles Rupture The LA Lakers defeated the San Antonio Spurs last night at Staples Center, a surprise for more than one reason. The Spurs have the much better record this season. But, more importantly, the Lakers were one man short: the man who's been playing almost every minute of every recent game — even when team officials wished that he wouldn't. Kobe Bryant is out for the season and maybe longer than that.
'Do-or-die' time on healthcare bill President Trump has demanded a House vote today on replacing Obamacare…whatever the details might be. Despite his campaign promise that nobody would lose health insurance, that's possible for 24 million people if he were finally to sign this bill into law.
