Robert Redford Sets Up Shop in LA On Friday of next week, there will be a major new venue for movies in West Hollywood. The Sunset 5 at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Crescent Heights will now be the Sundance Sunset Cinema. The President of the Sundance Group is one of the major figures in American films. We hear from actor, director and producer Robert Redford, who says his new theater will be reminiscent of the Los Angeles movie houses of his childhood, and from Chris McGurk, chair and CEO of Cinedigm Digital Cinema, who says that somewhere during his corporate ride in Hollywood, he became a "softie" and fell in love with independent film.
