Will LA Increase the Minimum Wage to a Record Level? The federal minimum wage is still $7.25 an hour, and Republicans in Congress want to keep it right there. Are Californians Safe from Their Doctors? One investigation took four years, during which eight of the doctor's patients died of overdoses or related causes. That's led Democratic State Senator Curren Price of Los Angeles to co-sponsor a bill that would transfer the Board's investigative authority to the Attorney General.

They'd look like regular license plates while vehicles were in motion but, when the vehicles stopped for four seconds, other drivers would see electronic messages. Los Angeles Democrat Curren Price sponsored the legislation.
