E-Cigarettes The LA City Council voted unanimously yesterday to ban e-cigarettes wherever regular cigarettes are banned. That means no more ‘vaping’ at workplaces, restaurants, bars and other public spaces. And LA’s not the only one -- New York and Chicago already have similar restrictions. But while local lawmakers are sounding the alarms, there’s a lot we still don’t know about e-cigarettes. Could they be a safer alternative to the real thing? Or are they just a gateway vice?
