Can Cities Keep Up with LA's Urban Agricultural Boom? LA County may be the most populous in the nation, but there still are 1200 urban farms . That's according to UCLA's Luskin School of Public Affairs, which created the website CultivateLosAngeles.org . Is the LAPD Over-Reacting to a Hostile Atmosphere? The year is only nine months over, but officers of the LAPD have already killed 18 people — as many as in all of 2014. Last Saturday night an unarmed man was killed by officers after the back window of their patrol car was broken out by a beer bottle. Did the dead man throw the bottle?
