The public cafe and restaurant at the LAPD's training school is part of an ongoing remodel of an old LA institution that has been freshened up for a new age in policing. DnA producer Avishay Artsy took a tour last month and learned about a building handmade by officers and haunted by a ghost, as well as an education that teaches police how to shoot as well as when not to shoot.
