“Manchester by the Sea” is Kenneth Lonergan's beautiful new film about love, loss and hope. But don’t expect tears and wailing - the colorful characters in this small New England fishing town suffer stoically. Ironically, the result is more poignant and moving than any overwrought melodrama.

First Take will screen “Manchester by the Sea” for KCRW members on Monday the 7th in Los Feliz... with free popcorn and soda!

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with writer and director Kenneth Lonergan.
