The battles of the Civil War were epic, but "Men Go to Battle" is anything but. This beautifully understated new film is deeply human-scaled, telling the story of two brothers - one who goes to fight and the other who stays behind to tend to their unkempt Kentucky farm.

First Take will screen "Men Go To Battle" for KCRW sustaining members followed by a Q&A with director Zachary Treitz.
