Cameraperson RSVP

Join us for a new screening from The Document!

"Cameraperson" is a mesmerizing, Oscar short-listed memoir of Kirsten Johnson's 25 years shooting documentaries in every corner of the globe. She was behind the lens for some of the most important and compelling documentaries of our time ("Darfur Now," "CitizenFour" and "The Invisible War" amongst others) and she's pulled moments from the raw footage of those films to create a moving, life-affirming experience that investigates the power of the camera.

This is the perfect film to kick-off our new screening series, where we'll feature exciting new, classic and cult documentaries in association with KCRW's new podcast, The Document - think of it as a mashup of radio and documentaries!

After the screening, we'll have a Q&A with Kirsten and Oscar-nominees Kirby Dick ("The Invisible War," "Twist of Faith"), followed by an after party with KCRW DJ Anne Litt!
