Good to Know

As spring makes way for summer, expect a few changes at the farmers’ market. Zuckerman’s asparagus is on it’s way out, and several stone fruit vendors are on their way in. Look for Ron Corenelson, John Tenerelli, Al Corchane and Frog Hollow Farms among others.

Keep your eyes peeled for unique berries at the market, like young berries and Murray berries, a creation of Murray Family Farms that taste like rhubarb when cooked. Al and Tennerelli are known for apricots and peaches

The CSA South Central Farmers Cooperative will begin selling at the Sunday Santa Monica Farmers’ Market starting this weekend.
