Jonathan Gold dines at Little Sister in Downtown LA

Written by

Chef Tin Vuong has opened a branch of his popular bistro Little Sister in Downtown LA. If you’re in the area around breakfast, Jonathan Gold recommends stopping in for the duck congee and Vietnamese iced coffee. For lunch, the SGV bahn mi is the thing to get. Try the lemongrass chicken for dinner, a dish of ‘Ga xao xa ot’ fried chicken tossed with herbs and crisp bits of fried garlic and should not be missed. Also, Gold says Vuong does anything fermented on the menu extremely well.
