Southeast Asian home cooking: Skewering with herbs on the grill

Grilling is part of Southeast Asian home cooking repertoire, according to cookbook author Leela Punyaratabandhu. She describes classic but often unfamiliar dishes in her cookbook, “Flavors of the Southeast Asia Grill.”  Recipes include Laotian grilled beef-stuffed lemongrass, Northern Thai grilled eggs in banana-leaf boats, and grilled bananas.
