It came out of nowhere, but is causing quite the political rumbling. Delegates attending the California Republican Party convention in Sacramento over the weekend voted to officially recognize the Log Cabin Republicans, a gay GOP group. Some conservatives are complaining that they hadn’t been told the issue was up for a vote. Supporters, however,are arguing that the Log Cabin group has loyally supported Republican causes for years.
