Policing the Antiquities Market

Who owns antiquities? Here in Los Angeles, the Getty Museum faces demands from Italy and Greece. In New York, the Metropolitan Museum is being confronted with charges of stolen treasures by Italy, as well. KCRW General Manager Ruth Seymour and Edward Goldman, host of KCRW's Art Talk speak with Kate Fitz Gibbon, editor of the new anthology Who Owns the Past?, and Selma Holo, whose titles include Director of USC's Fisher Gallery, Director of USC's Museum Studies Program, and Director of the International Museum Institute.
