Fenton Bailey & Randy Barbato: Mapplethorpe

Hosted by

In 1970's New York, Robert Mapplethorpe shocked the masses by challenging the stigma of "pornography" and creating fine art from homo-erotic photography -- his work reflecting the openness with which he lived. Twenty-five years later, filmmakers Randy Barbato and Fenton Bailey encourage audiences to look at the pictures for the art. Today they join Elvis to discuss their history documenting enigmatic characters and their latest project, Mapplethorpe: Look at the Pictures.
